Truck Technician

We are looking for a skilled Truck Technician to join our team in Huron, SD. The successful candidate will have a strong background in diesel mechanics and the ability to diagnose and repair complex issues with diesel trucks and equipment.

This is a great opportunity to work for a progressive full-service truck and equipment dealer, representing Volvo Construction Equipment and multiple other product lines to support the Construction and Agriculture Industry.

Salary: Competitive pay based on prior experience and demonstrable knowledge, up to $50 per hour.

• Repair, inspect, and maintain diesel trucks and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation;
• Diagnose technical problems and implement effective solutions;
• Provide excellent customer service and support in the field or shop;
• Maintain accurate records and reports;
• Work independently and as part of a team;

• 2-year technical degree and/or several years of comparable shop experience;
• Proven field service experience;
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, and hydraulics;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
• Able to work well under pressure;
