We are committed to supporting new graduate nurses with a pathway to success as you transition from nursing school to practicing registered nurse.

Our Nurse Residency Program is designed to help transition to a professional nursing role during your first year of clinical practice.

The program fosters trust, vulnerability, empathy, and respect.

You will have access to tuition reimbursement programs, loan forgiveness programs, free contact hour courses for license renewal, free AHA certifications as required for your role and paid educational time to complete them at CDH.

We anticipate openings for the Nurse Residency Program for Spring 2024 in these units:

  • Telemetry
  • Med/Surg
  • Emergency Department
  • Resource (Float)
Pool Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis until all spaces are filled. Application - Resume & cover letter indicating the department(s) where you are interested in working - Interview Other Qualifications:

  • Nursing school graduate
  • Current American Heart Association BLS certification required
  • Demonstrated excellent technical, interpersonal, organizational, oral, and written communication skills required.
