Job Overview

We're seeking a highly skilled Food Preparation and Presentation Specialist to join our team at Holiday by Atria. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in delivering exceptional dining experiences for our residents.


About the Role

As a key member of our culinary team, you'll be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality meals that exceed our residents' expectations. Your expertise in food preparation, presentation, and customer service will make all the difference in creating memorable dining experiences.


Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with meal preparation, ensuring dishes are presented in an appetizing manner.
  • Work closely with our Executive Chef and Sous Chef to maintain consistency in food quality and presentation.
  • Maintain kitchen cleanliness and adhere to sanitation standards.
  • Prepare and execute special events, banquets, and theme meals that showcase your creativity and attention to detail.
  • Operate and maintain kitchen equipment in a safe and efficient manner.

Requirements
  • Candidates must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A valid food handlers permit is required.
  • ServSafe certification is mandatory.
  • The ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English is essential.
  • Knowledge of food handling, preparation, cooking, and service principles is necessary.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $40,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits including paid holidays, PTO, health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, life insurance, and a retirement savings plan/401(k) employer match. Tuition reimbursement is also available for eligible employees.
