Job Title: Rigger I

Join SeaArk Boats, a leading manufacturer of aluminum fishing boats, as a Rigger I. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and completing the installation of various equipment on aluminum boats, adhering to the departmental production schedule.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accurately read tape measures to perform job assignments.
  • Cut simple parts from patterns with supervision.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area.
  • Operate power tools with minimal supervision.
  • Identify all necessary parts to perform job duties.
  • Install basic boat components, including plumbing, wiring, steering wheels, consoles, carpet, vinyl, and decals.
  • Analyze and interpret technical procedures and basic drawings.
  • Follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Wear company-provided personal protective equipment.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Less than 1 year of experience in fabrication or demonstrated ability to perform essential duties.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Use hands and fingers to handle objects, tools, or controls.
  • Frequent reaching with arms and hands.
  • Bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling.
  • Walk, climb, and balance frequently.
  • Frequent lifting and moving of 50 pounds or more.
  • Close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
  • This is a safety-sensitive position.
