Skating Instructors

Job Summary

Fargo Park District is seeking experienced Skating Instructors to join our team at the Sports Arena, Coliseum, and Southwest Youth Ice Arena. As a Skating Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching skating skills to individuals of all ages and skill levels.

Responsibilities

• Instruct beginners, intermediates, novice patch, and adult skating levels
• Teach skating skills and techniques to individuals of all ages and skill levels
• Develop and implement lesson plans to meet the needs of students
• Assess student progress and provide feedback
• Work collaboratively with other instructors and staff to ensure a positive and safe learning environment

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of skating and skating skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities

Working Conditions

This is a part-time position with varied hours, including weekdays, weekends, and evenings. The ideal candidate will be able to work a flexible schedule and be available to work at multiple locations.
