Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced ER Nurse to join our team at ScionHealth. As a Registered Nurse in our Emergency Department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department, assessing patients' needs and developing individualized plans of care.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other members of the healthcare team to coordinate patient care and achieve optimal results.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as ordered by physicians and in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
  • Monitor patients' conditions and report any changes or concerns to physicians and other members of the healthcare team.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions, including assessments, treatments, and progress notes.
Requirements

To be considered for this position, applicants must have:

  • A current RN license in the state of Texas
  • At least 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within 90 days of hire
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and/or Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) certification within 6 months of hire
  • Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification within 6 months of hire
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 per year, based on national averages for Registered Nurses in the United States. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, retirement savings, and paid time off.
