We're seeking a highly skilled Veterinary Technician to join our team. As a VT, you'll be responsible for maintaining excellent patient care and operational productivity.

**Salary:** $60,000 - $70,000 per year, based on experience and education.

Job Description:

In this role, you'll assist veterinarians with patient preparation for surgery, monitor patients post-op, and restrain animals during exams.

You'll also be responsible for obtaining samples for testing, administering medications, and communicating with clients to obtain medical information and provide instructions on animal care.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare patients for surgery, including administering anesthesia and taking x-rays
  • Monitor patients post-op and restrain animals during exams
  • Obtain samples for testing, including stool, blood, and other specimens
  • Administer medications, vaccines, or other treatments as prescribed by the veterinarian
  • Communicate with clients to obtain medical information and provide instructions on animal care

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
  • At least 18 years old at the time of hire
  • 1+ year of veterinary industry experience
  • Ability to properly restrain animals
  • Knowledgeable about veterinary medical terminology and medication
