Job Title: Unix Systems Administrator

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Unix Systems Administrator to join our team at Syntricate Technologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Unix/Linux system administration, with experience in managing and maintaining large-scale server environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and maintain the health of Unix/Linux servers, including troubleshooting and resolving issues in a timely manner.
  • Implement and manage system security policies, including user access control and auditing.
  • Develop and maintain scripts to automate system administration tasks.
  • Collaborate with the development team to ensure smooth operation of applications and services.
  • Document system configurations and procedures to ensure knowledge sharing and continuity.

Requirements:

  • 6-8 years of experience in Unix/Linux system administration.
  • Excellent knowledge of RHEL/Suse/AIX, including lvm device configuration and management.
  • Strong scripting skills in shell or Python for automation.
  • Proven ability to perform UNIX builds such as AIX, RHEL, Suse.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work individually and within a team.
