About the RoleThis is a unique opportunity to work in a hospital setting, delivering dialysis to patients at a contracted healthcare system. You will be an integral part of both the hospital and DaVita team, working closely with other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities- Provide lifesaving care to patients with end-stage renal failure or chronic kidney disease
- Deliver dialysis treatments in a hospital setting, working closely with other healthcare professionals
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
- Associates Degree in Nursing (A.D.N) from an accredited school of nursing required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N); three-year diploma from an accredited diploma program may be substituted for nursing degree
- Experience in Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Critical Care Unit (CCU), Emergency Room (ER), or Medical Surgical (Med Surg) settings preferred
- Certified Nephrology Nurse (CNN) or Certified Dialysis Nurse (CDN) certification a plus
