Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Commercial Loan Officer to join our team at Metairie Bank. As a Commercial Loan Officer, you will play a key role in building and maintaining relationships with clients, identifying business opportunities, and structuring loan products to meet their needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and retain commercial business by meeting with clients and prospects to achieve sales goals.
• Develop a deep understanding of commercial and other financial products and services, including loan policy, documentation, and regulatory requirements.
• Gather financial and business information, perform financial analyses, and communicate with clients to close sales.
• Build a network of outside referral sources for new business opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and guidelines.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in originating commercial loans, including first and second mortgages, construction loans, and home equity lines of credit.
• Knowledge of wholesaling and rate sheets, as well as underwriting processes from origination to loan closing.
