Job Summary

RiverWoods Exeter is seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) to join our team in a full-time day shift position. As an LNA, you will play a vital role in providing direct resident care and contributing to a team-focused environment that prioritizes the well-being and independence of our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct Resident Care: Provide assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, and toileting, to promote health and independence.
  • Assistance with Mobility and Functional Nursing Care: Assist residents with transfers, ambulation, ROM, splint application, positioning, sit-stand lifts, Hoyer lifts, and whirlpool, as defined by the nursing care plan.
  • Professional Relationships: Develop and maintain professional relationships with residents, family members, co-workers, and supervisors, fostering open communication and mutual respect.
  • Assessments and Treatment Procedures: Assist with assessments and treatment procedures, including TPRs, BP's, weights, specimen collection, skin care, O2 stats, and O2, as defined by the State Nursing Practice Act and facility policy.
  • Infection Control: Follow Infection Control guidelines, including Standard Precautions, handling of Biohazardous materials, and isolation techniques.
  • Care Protocols: Familiarize yourself with and assist with care protocols, including falls prevention, safety and elopement, behavior management, skin integrity, and bowel and bladder management.
  • Resident Rights and Responsibilities: Understand and follow established facility protocols regarding Resident Rights, Abuse reporting, HIPAA, and emergency response.
  • Documentation: Accurately document the level of care provided, including LNA flow sheets and other data collection as defined by the individual Care Plan.
Requirements
  • Active NH LNA License: Possess an active Licensed Nursing Assistant license in the state of New Hampshire.
  • Prior Experience: Prior experience working directly with senior citizens is strongly preferred.
