Our client, a prominent vendor specializing in turn-key solutions, focuses on Outside Plant (OSP) and Inside Plant (ISP) construction within the telecommunications sector. As a well-established General Contractor, they serve a broad market including Maryland, Washington D.C., Virginia, and West Virginia, with recent expansions into New Jersey and Vermont. Their primary clientele includes major players in the Cable TV industry such as Comcast, Cox Communications, and Crown Castle.
Position Summary:
We are seeking experienced Construction Coordinators to oversee OSP telecommunications construction projects. These projects encompass both Commercial (Metro E and SMB) and Residential (Multiple Dwelling Units and Single Dwelling Units) jobs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.
- Supervise both internal teams and subcontractors, providing guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct site surveys and walks to assess project requirements and validate Bill of Materials (BOMs).
- Coordinate construction activities with various crews, setting clear expectations with clients.
- Perform quality control checks and facilitate project close-out processes, ensuring accurate As-built documentation.
Essential Skills:
1. Minimum of 3 years of experience in Telecommunications OSP Construction.
2. Proven track record in site assessments, vendor management, and project tracking for turn-key projects.
3. Strong communication skills and high engagement levels with stakeholders.
This role requires a proactive approach to project management, with a focus on delivering exceptional results while maintaining strong client relationships.
