Desired Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated evidence of enhancing student achievement in the classroom
  • Knowledge and application of effective instructional strategies, resources, and technologies
  • Ability to analyze and utilize data for instructional decision-making
  • Interpersonal, problem-solving, and organizational skills necessary for effective coaching and staff development
  • Capability to design and implement high-quality training
  • Familiarity with Common Core State Standards (CCSS), California State Standards, and the California Standards for the Teaching Profession (CSTP)
  • Five years of elementary teaching experience
  • Strong understanding of reading/literacy instruction and practices
  • Experience in collaborative curriculum planning for literacy content
  • Experience in planning and delivering professional development activities
