Seeking a highly skilled Senior Security Compliance and Vulnerability Assessment Specialist to join our team at Inspira Enterprise in Dallas, TX & NY/NJ.

 

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your expertise in security compliance and vulnerability assessment to drive business success. As a Senior Security Compliance and Vulnerability Assessment Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive security controls assessments and vulnerability scans to ensure our organization's adherence to industry standards and regulations.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough security controls assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and non-compliance with industry standards.
  • Develop and implement effective mitigation strategies to address identified vulnerabilities and improve overall security posture.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of security measures into existing processes and systems.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations to communicate assessment findings and recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Analyze scan results to identify areas of improvement and develop targeted solutions to address vulnerabilities.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in information security, with a focus on security assessments and compliance.
  • In-depth knowledge of MARS-E v2.2 (or related standard such as NIST 800-53) security controls and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in using vulnerability scanning tools, particularly Tenable Nessus.
  • Strong understanding of network architecture and data security principles.
  • Experience in conducting assessments and developing mitigation strategies.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with preparing reports and presenting findings to stakeholders.

 

Preferred Skills:

  • Relevant security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH, CISA).
  • Experience with security compliance frameworks such as NIST 800-53 and MARSE v2.2.
  • Familiarity with vulnerability assessments and application security testing.

 

Salary: The estimated salary range for this position is between $120,000 and $180,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
