Job Summary:

The Security and Service Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring the safety and security of our store and its customers.

Responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining a strong presence at store entrances, exits, and high-risk areas
  • Engaging with customers and colleagues to promote a sense of control and security
  • Identifying and reporting theft incidents and suspicious behavior

Key Responsibilities:

Command Presence:

  1. Maintain a professional appearance at all times
  2. Stand positioned at the front of the store, remaining vigilant and aware of surroundings
  3. Greet every customer entering or exiting the store with a warm smile and friendly greeting
  4. Create a secure environment and reduce opportunities for theft

Knowledge and Communication:

  1. Possess knowledge mastery of top shortage areas and support programs aimed at theft reduction
  2. Effectively communicate information about theft prevention during store rallies
  3. Conduct bag and package checks on store and corporate associates, ensuring adherence to safety and security standards

Support and Guidance:

  1. Provide support in training associates on shortage reduction programs and processes
  2. Role-model safety as a top priority and address any unsafe practices promptly

Requirements:

  • 1+ years of experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, asset protection, loss prevention, or operations
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
