About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Café Associate to join our team at Sam's Club. As a key member of our prepared foods team, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of fresh food items, including our signature rotisserie chicken.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and serve a variety of fresh food items, including salads, sandwiches, and snacks.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to our members, responding to their needs and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a clean and organized store environment.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, including ordering and stocking merchandise, to ensure that our members have access to the products they need.
  • Food Safety and Sanitation: Maintain a clean and sanitary food preparation area, adhering to all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
Requirements
  • Food Service Experience: Previous experience in a food service environment, preferably in a retail or restaurant setting.
  • Food Safety Certification: Possession of a valid food safety certification, such as a Food Handler's Card.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse team.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and move quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
