Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Project Interior Designer to join our Interiors team in Sacramento. As a key member of our team, you will oversee the development of BIM/Revit design and documentation of drawings, manage the team, and oversee the production and coordination of construction documents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop solutions for complex design problems, including code compliance and agency interface.
  • Manage the team with a supportive understanding of the value of design.
  • Oversee the team's production and coordination of construction documents, including consultant coordination, and manage the client's goals, budget, and schedule.
  • Maintain the budget and schedule throughout the construction administration phase.
  • Oversee and coordinate project activities with clients, consultants, contractors, and staff.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or equivalent with a minimum of 6 years interior design experience; or an Associate's degree and a minimum of 10 years of related experience.
  • Proficiency with MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Proficient with BIM/Revit.
  • Prior experience with Civic and Healthcare projects.
  • Prior experience with proposal writing.
  • Prior experience and comfort with client interface.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • LEED accreditation.
  • PM experience a plus.
  • Programming experience.
