About the Role

Blythe Development Co is a leading general contractor specializing in site work, road construction, and golf course construction in the southeastern United States. As a 100% employee-owned company, we prioritize our employees' growth and well-being.

The Grading Foreman will play a crucial role in supervising field operations of a grading crew, ensuring the successful completion of projects. This individual will also engage in trade work performed by the crew, utilizing their knowledge of excavation and grading.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and direct grading crew, reporting to the Superintendent
  • Operate and supervise the operation of heavy equipment on project sites
  • Read, understand, and interpret drawings and specifications
  • Provide reports on time and materials
  • Ensure all safety precautions and quality standards are met
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience operating relevant heavy equipment
  • Commercial and/or residential grading experience with SCDOT
  • 3+ years of supervisory experience
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, and/or carry 50+ lbs
