Job Summary:

The Metropolitan Water District of Salt Lake & Sandy is seeking a highly motivated Facilities Technician to join our team. As a Facilities Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining the District's buildings and grounds in over three counties. Your daily assignments may include maintaining District right-of-ways, landscaping, custodial duties, painting, equipment operation, and equipment maintenance and repair.

Responsibilities:

Maintain District buildings and grounds in a safe and efficient manner
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and facilities
Operate small mechanical equipment and perform custodial duties
Maintain District right-of-ways and landscaping

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED equivalent
Two years of facilities maintenance experience
Valid Utah Driver's License
