About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team at OnePoint Patient Care. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our pharmacy operations.

Responsibilities
  • Fills prescription items, packaging medications for dispensing and delivery, meeting accuracy and productivity standards.
  • Provides high-level customer service by answering pharmacy phones and responding promptly to requests from colleagues, patients, nurses, physicians, and hospice personnel.
  • Contributes to efficient workflow by maintaining a high productivity level and error-free work product.
  • Maintains orderliness of the pharmacy by keeping countertops and drug bay shelves tidy and organized.
  • Enters, accesses, and verifies data accuracy in the pharmacy system.
  • Labels products appropriately, including cautionary or auxiliary labels.
  • Participates in periodic inventory of the pharmacy.
  • May check in drugs and supplies, stock shelves, and remove out-of-date items from inventory.
  • Communicates with internal and external customers in a pleasant and professional manner.
  • Assists in training new employees.
  • Performs other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule.
  • Ability to operate a computer and recognize and identify medications.
  • Detail-oriented, goal-oriented, team player, effective oral communication.
  • Pharmacy Technician license in good standing with the State Board (Certification is preferable).
