We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Sales Support Representative to join our team at ProBuild. As a Sales Support Representative, you will play a critical role in assisting our Outside Sales team in selling building products and services to business and industrial establishments or individuals.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide accurate and timely support to the outside sales team, other members of the inside sales team, and customers.
- Handle incoming communication from customers and sales team and provide requested information in a timely and efficient manner.
- Enter new customer data and other sales data for current customers into computer database.
- Creates quotes, orders, purchase orders, etc. in ERP.
- Monitor scheduled shipping dates to ensure timely delivery and expedite, as needed.
- Investigate customer concerns and relay information to others on the sales team to assist in resolving the issue.
- High school diploma or GED; three to six months related selling experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Prior building materials industry experience preferred.
- Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner, gather and analyze information skillfully, and develop alternative solutions as needed.
- Ability to manage difficult or emotional customer situations and respond promptly to customer needs.
- Ability to succeed in a sales environment, understand customer needs, handle objections well, and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
