Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team as a Heavy Duty Vehicle Technician. In this role, you will be responsible for performing vehicle maintenance and repair duties, ensuring that our fleet of heavy-duty vehicles is in top condition.

Salary and Benefits

The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary, with an estimated annual income of $67,482 (based on an average weekly pay of $1,297.20). Additionally, we offer a range of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine preventative maintenance, including oil changes, brake and tire work
  • Diagnose mechanical and electronic problems using diagnostic computers
  • Identify root causes of basic failures/conditions and perform repairs as required
  • Replace defective components as instructed
  • Interact with customers/drivers to determine the nature of complaints
  • Utilize key functions of Shop Management System and electronic documentation available

Requirements and Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Vocational or Technical Certification post-secondary degree or technical certifications preferred
  • Demonstrated aptitude and applied experience in mechanical repair of automotive gas or diesel engines
  • Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) Class A preferred

Bonus Structure

The successful candidate will be eligible for various bonus structures, including a certification bonus of up to $700, quarterly bonuses, and unlimited referral bonuses.
