As a Barback, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our bars and restaurants, providing exceptional service to our guests, and contributing to the overall success of our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up stations with condiments and china for service
  • Stock supplies in side stands and behind the bar
  • Pick up linen and ensure furniture and floors are clean and arranged according to specifications
  • Assist beverage servers and bartenders during meal periods
  • Remove dirty dishes from tables and stock and polish glassware, silverware, and fold napkins
  • Take food to correct tables and ensure guests have silverware, side plates, and all condiments to accompany the dish
  • Maintain a clean and organized service line in the kitchen
  • Ensure all plates coming out of the kitchen are cleaned and correct before taking them to a guest

Requirements:

  • Past experience preferred but not necessary
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds
  • Ability to stand/walk throughout the duration of the shift for up to 8 hours
  • Excellent communication and guest service skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Availability to work a flexible shift, including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to obtain Food Handlers and TABC certification
