Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Bartender to join our team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving drinks, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve drinks according to company recipes and standards
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive experience for all guests
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to company and state safety guidelines
  • Work well in a fast-paced environment, multitasking and managing time effectively
  • Follow company accounting policies and procedures regarding cash, credit card, and gift card transactions
  • Perform basic mathematics and accurately enter orders into the POS system
  • Engage with guests, coworkers, and managers in a positive and professional manner
  • Ensure each guest is taken care of from entering to leaving the building
  • Stay knowledgeable about company concepts, products, services, current promotions, and recurring events
  • Follow direction from management and supervisors, including additional requests for side work and cleaning
  • Attend on-going food, bar, or service trainings when scheduled
  • Comply with and support all policies set forth by the company employee handbook and department training manual
Requirements
  • Able to obtain a valid food service permit
  • Able to obtain a valid alcohol service permit
  • Consistently arrives to work as scheduled, prepared to assume shift responsibilities
  • Consistently arrives to work well groomed and in proper uniform
  • Prepares section so that it is ready at scheduled time
  • Is knowledgeable of all food and beverage menus, specials, soups, seasonal beers, and drinks prior to greeting the first table
  • Follows all steps of service for each table as outlined in the department training manual
  • Able to perform basic mathematics
  • Engages guests, coworkers, and managers with a positive, friendly, professional approach during all interactions
  • Ensures each guest is taken care of upon entering to leaving the building
  • Is knowledgeable of the company's concepts, products, services, current promotions, and recurring events
  • Willingly and with a positive attitude, follows direction of all management and supervisors, including additional requests for side work, cleaning, etc.
  • Follows State Liquor laws and company policies regarding the service of any alcoholic beverage and enforcement of ordinances and laws
  • Attends all on-going food, bar, or service trainings, when scheduled
  • Complies with and supports all policies set forth by the company employee handbook and the department training manual
Working Conditions and Environment
  • Must be able to work a variety of scheduled shifts, based on the needs and volume of the operation
  • Must work well in a fast-paced environment
  • Must work well under pressure
  • Must demonstrate good time management skills and multitasking skills
  • Must follow company and state safety guidelines to provide a safe working environment
