This role requires a strong understanding of medical operations, regulatory requirements, and leadership skills to manage a team of medical staff. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing medical activities, maintaining high medical standards, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Main Responsibilities:
• Serve as the primary physician for reporting to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA)
• Provide medical oversight to medical staff associates, ensuring they meet regulatory requirements
• Develop and implement policies and procedures related to medical operations
• Collaborate with corporate or divisional medical directors to determine donor suitability following adverse reactions
Requirements:
A Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school is required. The ideal candidate will have one year of residency training and a valid medical license in the state where the center is located. Familiarity with Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) and company plasma operating procedures is essential.
