Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular maintenance and inspections on our heavy equipment to ensure optimal performance and prevent breakdowns.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with our heavy equipment, including diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems.
  • Perform repairs and maintenance on our heavy equipment, including welding and fabrication as needed.
  • Operate and test equipment to ensure it is functioning properly.
  • Load and unload equipment and tools from trucks and trailers.
  • Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation to ensure accurate records of maintenance and repairs.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience as a diesel mechanic or heavy equipment technician.
  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a good driving record.
  • Ability to read and comprehend technical repair documents.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Working Conditions:

This is a full-time position that requires working in a fast-paced environment with frequent exposure to heavy equipment, noise, and extreme weather conditions. The successful candidate must be able to lift up to 80 pounds and work at heights.
