About the Role

At Calvary Hospital, we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Environmental Services Associate to join our team. As a key member of our housekeeping and laundry services team, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our hospital facilities.

Responsibilities
  • Clean and service hospital building areas, including patient and non-patient spaces
  • Perform a variety of housekeeping and laundry duties to maintain the hospital and its grounds in an orderly and sanitary condition
  • Work under the direct supervision of the Environment Services Manager or designee
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous housekeeping/laundry experience preferred
  • Ability to communicate with patients, staff, and visitors
  • Aptitude to perform basic calculations and transcription of numerical records
  • Ability to speak, read, and write in English
  • Ability to carry weight and lift up to 10lbs frequently, and up to 40lbs occasionally
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
Working Conditions

This is a per diem position, with varying shifts including day, evening, and night hours. The hourly rate is $23.4551. COVID-19 vaccination is strongly encouraged for all new hires prior to beginning employment at Calvary Hospital.
