Position Summary:

As a server, your primary responsibility will be to attend to guests at both the bar and tableside. You will take drink and food orders while ensuring a welcoming and attentive service experience for each patron.

In addition, you will assist bartenders in preparing beverages for cocktail servers, showcasing your knowledge of our diverse drink offerings, which include craft cocktails, regional beers, and fine wines.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Warmly welcome guests at the bar and tables, present the menu, and clarify any items as needed.
  • Accurately take orders and manage payment processes to establish tabs.
  • Input orders into the POS system and communicate with the bar or kitchen for any special requests.
  • Regularly check in with guests to ensure their needs are met throughout their visit.
  • Maintain cleanliness by removing empty glasses, plates, and trash from tables.
  • Confirm permission to charge the card before processing payments.
  • Reset tables as necessary to prepare for new guests.
  • Collaborate with cocktail servers to ensure timely service.
  • Exhibit a sense of urgency during busy periods while maintaining a friendly demeanor.
  • Possess a basic understanding of menu items, signature cocktails, and ingredients.
  • Be knowledgeable about our selection of spirits and confidently make recommendations.
  • Stay informed about current beer and wine offerings.
  • Complete side work duties, including cleaning and restocking items.
  • Support team members as needed to foster a collaborative environment.
  • Uphold a clean and professional appearance at all times.
  • Hold a valid certification in alcohol service or a similar program.
  • Successfully complete any required safety training.
  • Understand emergency procedures and safety protocols.
  • Adapt to changes in job responsibilities as needed.
  • Conduct all tasks in a safe and respectful manner.
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding company operations and guest information.

Qualifications:

Ideal candidates will be highly organized and able to stand for extended periods while moving frequently. You should be capable of lifting up to 30 pounds and possess strong guest service skills.

Attention to detail and a customer-oriented mindset are essential, along with effective communication skills with guests and colleagues.

Must be authorized to work in the US and have reliable transportation.

A current liquor license is required.
