Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for consulting with patients to learn about their physical condition, assessing and interpreting patient evaluations and test results, and creating personalized fitness-oriented healthcare programs. You will also administer medically prescribed physical therapy treatments to relieve pain and improve mobility, provide educational information about injury prevention, ergonomics, and ways to promote physical health, and use hands-on therapy to ease patients' pain and promote healing.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct initial and ongoing physical therapy evaluations according to APTA standards of practice and state standards.
  • Document patient progress according to approved medical documentation and facility documentation procedures.
  • Assist other facility staff members as needed to provide care and create a clean, orderly, and effective environment for rehabilitation and physical therapy.
  • Evaluate mobility, strength, and current level of patient function, while setting goals to improve in these areas that are scaled to patient abilities and realistically attainable.
Requirements & Qualifications:
  • Graduate from an accredited university with a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) Program.
  • Possess up-to-date knowledge of treatment practices.
  • Ability to write reports and correspondence at a professional level.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
