Mechanical Engineer Position Overview

MVP Robotics is a pioneering engineering company dedicated to enhancing human safety and performance through innovative robotic solutions in challenging environments. Our mission is to revolutionize training methods with our cutting-edge tackling dummies and HEKTR robotic live-fire shooting targets.

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to design and develop novel capabilities and accessories for our robotic systems. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional mechanical design skills, proficiency in SolidWorks, and experience with fabrication drawings, GD&T, and product design. Familiarity with electrical systems, sensors, and robotics/unmanned systems is also desired.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement mechanical designs for robotic systems
  • Create detailed fabrication drawings and perform GD&T analysis
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate mechanical and electrical systems
  • Conduct thorough testing and validation of designs
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • At least 2 years of industry experience (internships/co-ops considered)
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills
  • Authorization to work in the USA
Benefits and Compensation Package:

A competitive salary based on the candidate's background and experience will be offered, ranging from $85,000 to $110,000 per year. This salary estimate reflects the cost of living in Bradford, VT, where MVP Robotics is headquartered.
