Job Summary
">We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Specialist to join our team at Osseo Area Schools. As a vital member of our school community, you will be responsible for providing exceptional healthcare services to our students, faculty, and staff.
">About the Role
">The ideal candidate will have experience as a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse, with a strong background in first aid, health screening, and emergency care. You will assess the health status of students and staff, administer medication and specialized treatments, and develop individual health plans for students with special needs.
">You will also promote health and well-being through education and counseling, prevent and control communicable diseases, and maintain accurate health records. Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to work effectively with students, parents, teachers, and staff.
">Requirements
">To be successful in this role, you must possess a current RN or LPN license in the State of Minnesota, basic first aid certification, and the ability to teach health information to student groups. A public health background and computer skills are preferred.
">Compensation and Benefits
">Osseo Area Schools offers a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $90,000 per year, based on experience and licensure level. We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
