Metro Industrial Services is seeking a skilled Experienced Welder to join our team at a Steel Fabricating facility in Pelham, TN. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for performing high-quality welding tasks, ensuring efficient production processes, and maintaining a safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform MIG welding tasks on various steel fabrications
- Adjust feed and speed settings on wire feeders to optimize welding efficiency
- Conduct routine maintenance on weld feeders, including liner and roller replacement and adjustments
- Read tape measures and blueprints to ensure accurate fabrication
- Build production weld fixtures to support efficient manufacturing processes
- Perform quality inspections using established inspection standards and train others on quality control procedures
- Minimum 1 year of steady MIG welding experience
- Ability to pass a weld test on-site
- Availability for overtime when needed
- Good knowledge of weld sub-components and main weld lines
- Competitive hourly rate of $18.00
- Monday-Thursday schedule, 6:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
