Project Operations Manager
Your role and responsibilities
In this capacity, you will have the chance to oversee the execution of medium-scale initiatives. Daily, you will ensure that all associated activities are carried out in line with established procedures, regulations, standards, specifications, and objectives. You will demonstrate your expertise by guiding project team members to fulfill project requirements, deliver agreed outputs, and achieve the desired project outcomes. The work model for this role is: Onsite. This position contributes to the Electrification Distribution Solutions division. Your main responsibilities will include:
• Leading the project team, defining the project execution strategy, and supervising planning, monitoring, and control activities for both internal and external resources to meet all project objectives.
• Tracking and managing project progress, optimizing resource utilization, and overseeing project financials.
• Identifying, assessing, and managing project risks while ensuring that all opportunities are recognized and pursued.
• Facilitating the formal acceptance of the project, concluding contracts, and obtaining customer acknowledgment, all in accordance with contractual obligations. Our team dynamics: You will become part of a highly collaborative and dedicated team, where you will have the opportunity to excel.
Qualifications for the role
- Bachelor's degree (Engineering preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in Electrification, Manufacturing, or Project Management.
- Understanding of Project Management principles and processes.
- Ability to interpret electrical diagrams and knowledge of power systems and protection-related matters.
- Willingness to travel approximately 5%.
- Candidates must already possess work authorization that allows them to work for ABB in the US.
