Job Summary:

Element Materials Technology is seeking an experienced Electrical Test Technician to join our team in Warren, Ohio. As a key member of our operations team, you will perform routine and non-routine testing assignments within the department assigned, ensuring timely and accurate test results under direct supervision.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare material specimens for various electrical tests required for research and development of Electric Vehicles (EV) charging cable assemblies.
  • Perform tests as directed by customer specifications.
  • Operate under the supervision of a more senior test technician and/or a Department Manager.
  • Interact with customers and gather and record test data.
  • Construct and maintain various test fixtures and other laboratory equipment to ensure proper working order with little supervision.
Requirements:
  • Working knowledge of laboratory safety.
  • Minimum of a two-year associate degree in electrical/electronic discipline and/or equivalent experience.
  • Possess an aptitude for electrical or electronic technology.
  • Basic understanding and knowledge of Voltage, AC/DC, and OHM's Law.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a testing-related field.
  • Basic understanding of laboratory equipment, including Multimeter and Oscilloscope.
  • Analyzes and compiles testing data from the tests performed.
  • Basic understanding of testing concepts.
  • Possess computer skills.
Physical Demands:

Frequency of required physical force: Minimum (moderate)

Lifting requirements: lifting 50 lbs. on occasion

Ability to stand on feet for long periods of time

Ability to lift 50+lbs periodically
