We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Tech Perinatal PRN to join our team at MFM Services at NFRMC. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality ultrasound services to our patients.
Key Responsibilities:- Apply fetal ultrasound principles in the evaluation of fetal anomalies
- Apply gynecological ultrasound principles in the evaluation of patients
- Adapt to various ultrasound machines while maintaining high standards of sonography
- Perform ultrasounds on maternal uterus, cervix, and ovaries
- Perform complicated twin and triplet scans in conjunction with in-office multiple gestation service
- Operate General Electric, Accuson, Medison, and ATL ultrasound machines with proficiency
- Continues to expand knowledge of latest technology
- Maintain ultrasound logging records including past medical history, past surgical history, past obstetric history, and past genetic history
- Prepare patients for procedures including and not limited to Level I & II ultrasounds, amniocentesis, lung maturity amniocentesis, PUBS, amino reduction, external cephalic version, and GYN ultrasound
- Maintain professional relationship with other staff members, other obstetric offices, and hospital personnel
- Associates degree in Ultrasound required
- Bachelor's degree preferred
