Job Title: ICM Mentor - Youth Development Specialist

At The Children\u2019s Village, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate ICM Mentor - Youth Development Specialist to join our Plus+ Mentoring Team. The successful candidate will work closely with at-risk youth, ages 13-18, to provide guidance, support, and mentorship in a group-based setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with youth and staff
  • Implement the Power Source Curriculum and Mindfulness practices to support youth in examining their feelings and behaviors
  • Provide one-on-one mentoring and case management services as needed
  • Collaborate with the Program Coordinator to ensure the smooth operation of the mentoring program

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience working with at-risk youth
  • Bachelor\u2019s degree preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of the juvenile justice system and anti-gun violence initiatives
