We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team on the Telemetry floor at Lake Huron Medical Center. As a critical care nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Responsibilities- Deliver safe and effective patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Provide direct patient care within the scope of practice and direct and guide patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel.
- Communicate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and reports.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of safety and excellence.
- Current valid State Registered Nurse License.
- Completion of Critical Care Course preferred.
- Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
- Current ACLS (AHA) certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current preferred.
- Minimum of one year experience as a staff RN in acute care hospital, critical care preferred.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
This is a part-time (24 hours per week) night shift (7:00pm-7:30am) position on a Telemetry floor. Must be available to work every other weekend and holidays on rotation.
