Dialysis Nurse Specialist

As a Dialysis Registered Nurse, you'll be an integral part of our patient care team, ensuring safe care and prioritizing the highest quality outcomes for every patient. Your role will involve preparing dialysis machines, performing hemodialysis treatments, and providing ongoing patient education and training.
- Prepare dialysis equipment and treatment supplies, adhering to quality standards
- Perform hemodialysis treatments according to facility policies and procedures
- Deliver ongoing patient education, training, and health coaching
- Monitor patients during dialysis, assessing and communicating changes with physicians and families
- Administer and chart prescribed medications
- Follow CDC/CMS infection control regulations
- Participate in patient care conferences, rounds, and chart reviews
- Document patient education efforts
- Facilitate continuity of care with local hospitals
- Assist with medication inventory maintenance
- Lead a small patient care team
- Contribute to onboarding new staff members
