Advantia Health is seeking a highly skilled Women's Health Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Frederick, Gaithersburg, and Rockville, MD. As a WHNP, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to our mission of delivering unparalleled healthcare.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform comprehensive physical examinations and diagnose acute, episodic, or chronic illnesses
- Prescribe medications and treatments, and develop patient management policies and procedures
- Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities, and communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists
- Develop and implement patient education programs and provide health promotion and disease prevention services
- Master of Science degree with completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Current state licensure as a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner (Maryland preferred)
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (Maryland preferred)
- Current BLS certification or obtained prior to providing direct patient care
- DEA and CDS eligible
- 1+ years' experience working in the women's health field
