Job Summary

Carlow University is seeking experienced nurses to teach clinical courses in the BSN program. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing and a passion for teaching and learning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach clinical courses in nursing care fundamentals, mental health, obstetrics, pediatrics, medical/surgical, community health, and leadership in professional practice.
  • Develop and implement curriculum to meet the needs of students.
  • Assess student learning and provide feedback.
  • Collaborate with other faculty members to ensure a cohesive learning experience.
  • Stay current with industry developments and best practices in nursing education.
Requirements
  • Active PA RN License.
  • BSN required.
  • MSN enrolled is required if not completed at the time of hire.
  • Three years of recent nursing care experience.
  • Teaching experience preferred.
  • Experience working with electronic health records preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with diverse populations.
  • Ability to articulate how they will contribute to Carlow University's Catholic, Mercy mission and values through their teaching, scholarship, and service.
