About the Role

Covenant Living is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Dishwasher to join our team. As a Dishwasher, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen and dining areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate the dishwashing machine to ensure clean and sanitized dishes, utensils, and equipment.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the dishroom, including stock areas and equipment.
  • Transport carts and equipment to and from the dining areas.
  • Deliver clean water pitchers to nursing stations.
  • Monitor and record water temperatures and cleaning compound usage.
  • Perform cleaning assignments as directed by management.
  • Clean and wash food-service carts, dishes, utensils, trays, pots, pans, etc., and store them properly.
  • Use proper sanitation in all food and service areas.
  • Maintain cleanliness in all work areas, equipment, and appliances.
  • Deliver food requests to stations as needed.
  • Keep all kitchen work areas and dining rooms clear of dirty dishes.
  • Perform other cleaning assignments as directed.
  • Sweep and mop floors and work areas.
  • Assist in the transportation of residents in case of fire, disaster, or emergency evacuation according to procedure.
Requirements
  • Previous relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing, with residents, family members, and staff.
