As a Tele Observation Unit Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced, observation unit. Our team is dedicated to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care that is respectful, safe, and cost-efficient.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to patients experiencing chest pain, stroke, congestive heart failure exacerbation, uncontrolled hypertension, dehydration, and post-procedural recovery for cardiac catheterization and short stay surgery.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care and ensure seamless transitions.
- Utilize Epic as our electronic health record to facilitate bedside documentation and medication verification.
- Participate in shared governance structure to improve patient outcomes and enhance the nursing practice.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
- Previous Medical/Surgical experience preferred. New graduates may be considered for RN residency positions.
- Current RN license from the Washington State Board of Nursing.
- Current BLS with the American Heart Association only.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
