About the Role: We are seeking a skilled Public Safety Coordinator to join our team at the Arizona Department of Public Safety. This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to make a difference in the community by coordinating response efforts and providing support to emergency responders.

Key Responsibilities: The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and coordinating day-to-day Department operations, working with state troopers, operational communications, and other stakeholders to obtain situational awareness related to incidents and events. They will also perform information sharing and alerting functions, provide timely email notifications, and make phone notifications to command staff and executive staff.

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need to have at least three years of law enforcement experience as an Arizona POST certified peace officer. You must also possess and maintain a valid Arizona driver license and be able to work irregular hours and/or respond to emergency staffing or callouts on a 24-hour basis.
