About the Opportunity

As a key member of our healthcare team, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of our patients and contribute to the delivery of high-quality medical care in a rural setting.

Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional nursing care to laboring, postpartum, antepartum, and newborn patients
  • Exercise knowledge of scientific and psychosocial nursing theory, principles, spiritual, and social-cultural needs of patients
  • Recognize complications and implement appropriate nursing/therapeutic intervention required
  • Manage patient needs and provide appropriate documentation regarding care rendered
  • Cross-train to Women's Health Clinic when short-staffed
Requirements
  • 36 months of nursing experience, with a minimum of 12 months in OBGYN specialty
  • Current, valid, unrestricted nursing license in a state, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a Territory of the United States
  • ACLS, BLS, NRP, and Fetal Monitoring Certification are mandatory
  • PALS, TNCC, and Nurse Specialty Certification (e.g. CNOR) is preferred
