We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Travel Nurse Across America. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for operating magnetic resonance imaging equipment to produce high-quality images for medical diagnosis and treatment.
Key Responsibilities- Confirm patient identification and review imaging requests to ensure accurate and safe procedures.
- Screen patients for MRI safety and prepare them for imaging procedures.
- Position patients for MRI scans using immobilization and protective equipment to comply with government regulations and ensure patient safety.
- Assist radiologists with procedure performance and evaluate MRI scans for technical quality.
- Maintain accurate patient records and understand and use the McKesson PACS system.
- 1 year of experience as an MRI Technologist.
- ARRT National certification with registration in magnetic resonance imaging.
- State-specific licensing when required.
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time and bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty.
- Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
