Elgen Staffing, a nationwide leader in custom metal and steel components, has an immediate need for an experienced CNC Machinist to join their winning team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Setup & Troubleshoot CNC Mills and/or Lathes under minimal supervision.
• Layout new work including tooling selection and fixturing.
• Setup Machines and Supervise Operator(s) during production of lot.
• Have technical knowledge to troubleshoot manufacturing and production related issues.
• Work to tolerances of .0005" or less.
• Use CAD, engineering drawings, or even back-of-napkin sketches to accurately and efficiently machine a high mix of prototype parts from a variety of materials.
• Light use of CAM software to create efficient and reliable toolpaths (GibbsCam or MasterCam preferred).
• Develop training for other team members to safely use equipment.

Key Requirements:

• 5+ Years of Setup Experience in a Precision CNC Environment.
• Proven Experience in similar role.
