We are seeking a highly skilled Security Officer to join our team at Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla. As a key member of our healthcare operations team, you will be responsible for providing patient-centered security services and ensuring the safety and well-being of our patients, visitors, and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide security services to patients, visitors, and staff, including responding to emergencies and incidents
- Conduct regular security patrols of the hospital campus and surrounding areas
- Monitor and respond to security alarms and CCTV systems
- Collaborate with hospital staff and law enforcement agencies to ensure a safe and secure environment
- Participate in training and education programs to stay up-to-date on security best practices and hospital policies
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience in security or a related field
