  • Create and manage production orders, ensuring all necessary information is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Use MRP to anticipate work order creation and optimize production planning.
  • Collaborate with production staff to train them on work order and inventory policies and procedures.
  • Work closely with production to ensure accurate and up-to-date BOMs and communicate changes as needed.
  • Perform and reconcile cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory levels.
  • Strictly follow safety policies and procedures, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
Interaction with OthersRegular contact with production staff, supervisors, and other employees is required to explain, clarify, or interpret information. Minimal communication with external contacts is expected.Problem Solving and Decision MakingThis role requires the ability to analyze problems, evaluate results, and coordinate with others to find solutions. Independent judgment is used to adapt broad guidelines to achieve desired results, and recommendations may impact policies, procedures, and practices.Competencies
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and ERP systems, such as Microsoft Dynamics 365.
  • Ability to count and perform basic math accurately, and transfer information into the system correctly.
  • Experience with production and inventory movement and tracking is preferred.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize them, and work independently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Working Conditions and EnvironmentThis role is based in a typical office environment with production floor interaction. Standard movements with limited physical exertion are required.
