Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Home Care Aide to join our team at Standard Home Care - Bloomingdale, IL. As a Home Care Aide, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients by providing personalized care and support in their homes.
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with daily living activities, such as light housekeeping, meal preparation, bathing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Assist clients with transferring from bed to chair and repositioning bedridden clients to prevent bedsores.
- Remind clients to take medication and assist with other activities of daily living.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1 year of experience in caregiving or home care aide work preferred.
- Home care aide training or active CNA status preferred.
- Driver's license, vehicle, and car insurance required.
- Day shift required.
Benefits:
- Flexible scheduling.
- $16 - $17 per hour.
- Great benefits, including health insurance, 401(k), and referral program.
