Job Description
The Mental Health Monitoring Technician plays a critical role in monitoring patients, documenting behaviors, and notifying staff of potential safety concerns. This includes observing monitors continuously for suspicious or unusual behaviors, reporting incidents to nursing staff, and initiating emergency codes when necessary.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need a high school diploma or equivalent and two years of social services experience, with one year in mental health direct patient care preferred. Certification in prevent first module and NVCI-APS is also required.
